I live in the beautiful Victorian seaport town of Port Townsend, Washington on the Olympic Peninsula. I enjoy exploring many different genres of photography including portraiture of children and adults. I particularly like working with senior adults to capture their unique beauty and a glimpse of their life story. I do event photography and volunteer to photograph for several local organizations whose missions I support. A special passion is garden and flower photography. The images in the slideshow are a few of my favorite recent photos from portrait sessions, garden sessions, concerts, events, and travels. I am passionate about photography because it allows me to capture the the vitality and color of life. I love to meet new people and learn about their life and their passions. I try to include in each portrait session some images that illustrate something unique about each individual or family.
The outstanding natural beauty of the Olympic Peninsula allows easy access to wonderful scenic and nature photography. The temperate climate allows gardening to be an almost year round activity. A diverse arts community flourishes in Port Townsend. The opportunity for interacton with other photographers, artists, writers, poets, and musicians nourishes my imagination and creativity.
